Guide to Author

Submission:

Manuscript may be submitted online (www.jabsjournals.com) or at editor@jabsjournals.com as attached file on defined format. After receipt, the manuscripts are allocated a reference number and reviewed initially by Editorial Board and then are sent out for review. Self citation of the journal in the manuscript is discouraged. In routine, manuscripts are reviewed within six weeks time and are published after acceptance and corrections in the proofs. Transfer of copy rights to journal administration is mandatory. In case of any query the authors are encouraged to contact the Editor-in-Chief at info@jabsjournal.com.

Manuscript Preparation

Short and brief research papers are preferred. Short communications range from 1300 to 1500 text words. Manuscript typed on A4 paper size is acceptable. Text should be double spaced with 2.5cm margin on each side and page number should be mentioned at bottom. For submission of review, discuss the contents and theme of review with Chief Editor. Use System International (SI) units. Full length manuscript should be organized into following parts:

Title page:

  1. Complete title of manuscript
  2. Short and comprehensive running title
  3. Short and comprehensive running title
  4. E-mail address of corresponding author.
Abstract:
Not more than 300 words of objectives, conclusions and practical applications.
Keywords:
Total four to six words and should not be part of manuscript title.
Introduction:
Clearly signify the background of the problem with support of recent literature and well defined objectives.
Materials and Methods:
Complete and comprehensive information about methodologies and materials is required.
Results:
Should base on analysis.
Discussion:
Logical and must reflect the novelty of the findings with the support of recent literature.
Conclusion:
Clear cut statements of conclusions rather than summary.
Acknowledgement
Should be brief.

Journal Reference Format


One Author:
  1. With date in parentheses when author name is used in review like, Aslam (1992).
  2. With names and dates in parentheses like (Aslam, 1992).
Two Authors:
  1. Date in parentheses and there are two authors like, Aslam and Amir (1999).
  2. With names and dates in parentheses like, (Aslam and Amir, 1999).
More than two authors:
  1. Aslam et al. (1999)
  2. (Aslam et al., 1999)
  • In the text two or more references should be placed in chronological order, e.g., (Jones, 1967; Chirnside, 1992).
  • If more than one reference by the same author(s) published in the same year is cited, they should be distinguished from each other by placing a, b, etc. after the year.
  • References at the end of paper should be alphabetically arranged.
  • Names of all authors should be included in reference section.

Tables and Figures to be arranged at the end of manuscript. Tables should be typed on separate sheets and given roman numbers. All tables and figures must be cited in the text at proper site. Figures should be in JPG or TIFF format.
